Children of all ages are welcome during worship at NACC! We have some toys and rocking chairs available in the Narthex if little ones want to play, roam, be rocked or fed. We also have busy bags/colored pencils available in the pews if little ones prefer to stay with their adults. We delight in the little voices, movements, and giggles during worship.
Before worship we have Kid's Corner, for kids ages birth through 17 years old. Kid’s Corner (located on the north side, 1st floor) is open starting at 9 a.m. and stays open until worship is over. We know each family is different and has different needs, so the space is cultivated for a wide range of ages. There is storytime, playtime, and different activities for various ages. On collaborative Sundays and Board meeting Sundays (which are after worship), Kid’s Corner stays open!
An option for ages 5 to 11 years old is The StoryKeepers class from 9 to 9:45 a.m. The class begins with singing for the first 15 minutes and then transitions to sharing Bible Stories and activities.
Additionally, our middle school and high school-aged kids are encouraged to check in with collaborative leaders and staff to discern the right fit for them! Some help out in the kitchen, others help with tech and some help prepare for worship. Check in with Pastor Jenn and Pastor Ashley for more info and updates!
