Coffee & Conversations is a discussion-based group focused on open, thoughtful conversations about current topics, inspired by the weekly informational posts from Heather Cox Richardson.

Each week, we’ll gather to share ideas, ask questions, and talk through what’s happening in the world in a respectful, welcoming space.

Disciples on the Edge is a spiritual formation discussion group for adults of all ages. This group generally uses the same resource for its weekly discussions as Pastor Jenn is using for Sunday morning worship. Generally the resource is in the form of a recent book by authors as diverse as Marcus Borg, Richard Rohr, Nadia Boltz Webber, Stephanie Paulsell, Rob Bell and Valerie Kaur, just to name a few. The theme changes about every six weeks. Discussion leaders generally rotate from week to week and include a college ethics professor, a medical doctor, a Christian spirituality specialist and a licensed professional counselor. The purpose of Disciples on the Edge is to encourage personal spiritual formation in an open, affirming, supportive, atmosphere. There are two ways to meet, in person at 9am on Sundays OR via Zoom.
